Truck driver killed in early morning N2 accident

The truck came to a rest in dense bush next to the north bound lane

A truck lost control on the N2 south bound just past New Guelderland early this morning, rolling multiple times and coming to rest in dense bush next to the north bound lane.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst, the driver was declared dead upon their arrival, but was still entrapped in the wreckage,

KwaDukuza Fire department used the jaws of life to free the deceased.
