Network your business in Ballito

Growing and networking your business does not need to be a headache, get referrals from other professionals in Ballito

Business Network International (BNI) is offering you the chance to take your business forward in leaps and bounds.

The BNI Matrix Ballito chapter is holding a visitor’s evening and gin tasting next week Thursday (August 24) and all are welcome.

BNI is a network of business owners with local chapters around the world, including in Ballito.

Rex Hunt, owner of Alpha Security and BNI member, claims that in just six months this year, BNI had referred more than R500 000 in business locally.

“Currently, there are 17 of us in the local BNI chapter. Through our networking and referrals for one another it has been like having 16 extra marketers for my business,” said Hunt.

At the visitor’s evening business owners and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to hear what BNI is all about and to decide if they would like to join, not to mention enjoying a taste or two of gin.

“We network with one another, refer business, go on courses and have weekly meetings where members will get a chance to promote their business.”

Hunt said their chapter of BNI had worked hard to keep as much business in Ballito as possible and that joining could provide a boost for business owners in any industry.

BNI itself does not make any money from local members.

“When you join you fill the ‘slot’ for that particular business, for instance: if you are a doctor and join, then no other doctors can join the chapter.”

The visitor’s evening will take place at Umhlali Country Club on Thursday from 5.30pm. RSVP to membership@bniballito.co.za.
