Three people have been killed and two were injured after two vehicles collided on the N2 north near Zinkwazi this afternoon (Saturday).
According to IPSS Medical Rescue‘s Paul Herbst, the three people who were killed were reportedly pedestrians walking along the highway at the time of the incident.
Paramedics ventilated the one patient from one of the vehicles involved, while the second patient escaped with moderate injuries.
The accident resulted in the north bound lane being closed and traffic was reportedly backed up for about 5kms in the south bound lane.
