Two critical after bees attack landscapers – Maidstone
Five men were stung multiple times, two of which have reportedly gone into anaphylactic shock.
Employees from a local landscaping service poured petrol over themselves in an attempt to deter a swarm of bees from attacking them in Maidstone this morning.
The Leitch Landscapes employees were mowing the grounds at Maidstone Primary when they reportedly disturbed a beehive.

According to Paul Herbst of IPSS Medical Rescue, five men were stung multiple times, with two men suffering anaphylaxis.
Paramedics managed to stabilise the men before rushing them to hospital.
Leitch Landscapes confirmed that the men were taken to Victoria Hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
