Avoid sharing this document online.

A false document stating that land grabs and riots will commence as from today (April 18) in major cities throughout the country, has been doing the rounds on social media.

The document, which boasts a South African Police Service header and stamp reads, “People are being intimidated and threatened that in case they do not participate they will be sorry/hurt or killed.

“The main focus of this terror will be JHB, PTA and all major cities in SA.

“…these groups want retaliation and war, so please do not give in to them.”

The SA Police Service have distanced themselves from the document and have confirmed that it is indeed false.
