Ballito Radio Control Club soaring to victory
The big win of the day though, went to Zurinskas who landed the win in the unlimited category.
Three local radio control aircraft enthusiasts spread their wings last weekend at the SA Large Scale Aerobatics National Championships.
Cliff Chen, Charl du Rand and Chris Zurinskas all brought silverware home for the Ballito Radio Control Club (BRCC).
Chen claimed second in the unlimited (expert) class while du Rand took top spot in the sportsman (beginners) class.
The big win of the day though, went to Zurinskas who landed the win in the unlimited category.
“There was plenty of tough competition”, said Zurinskas.
“What was very interesting were all the jets, choppers, drones and more.”
The BRCC thanked Simon and Ellen Povey for their new club shirts as well as all the members who come out to enjoy taking to the skies together.
