Two killed in N2 collision – Zinkwazi

The road has since been reopened.

It was a tragic end to the weekend last night (Sunday) when two people lost their lives in a major accident on the N2 near Zinkwazi.

Paramedics arrived to find two people, both backseat passengers, had been killed in the accident that involved four vehicles.

According to Paul Herbst of IPSS Medical Rescue, paramedics transported five victims, three of which sustained critical injuries, to various hospitals.

The south bound lane was closed as emergency services cleared the scene, and has since been reopened.
