Grace Family Church and the Paradigm Shift organisation teamed up to help local entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
Volunteers from within the church took trainees under their belts and introduced them to a range of concepts from bookkeeping to saving, helping them realise the potential of their undertakings.
Paradigm Shift is a non-profit that works alongside churches to develop a more effective, sustainable way to reach the poor in their communities.
Their mission is to train churches to provide business training, microcredit, mentoring and discipleship to the urban poor.
“This training will help a lot, before I was trying to run my business without the actual know-how,” said graduate Lwazi Nyembezi.
“I can now proudly say that I have seen my business grow and I expect it to keep growing.”
