Market madness for young entrepreneurs

Plenty of lessons were learnt and plenty of fun had - and more than one piggy-bank will be bursting at the seams.

The signs had been carefully stenciled in colour-pen, the glitter was glued on and the prices determined. Table cloth? Check. Petty-cash? Check.

Young entrepreneurs from across the Dolphin Coast set up stalls at the Young Entrepreneurs Market held at Sugar Rush Park on Saturday.

Fancy an iced coffee from one of these dapper young gentlemen? Keegan Walker and Kai Molyneaux were ready for some fast trading.

From sweet-treats, to homemade clothing, amazing semi-precious stones and all sorts of odds and ends – the market had it all.

Some hectic trading took place as the young businessmen and women looked to lure the many weekend visitors to try their products.
