The competition is aimed at acknowledging domestic workers and the work they do and the monthly winners each receive a Hirsch’s voucher and a certificate.

Shamiso Mushunke, Chantal Kemp and Beauty Luthuli.

Maureen was nominated by her employer Leanne Jamieson who commented “Makhosi has been in our employ for over 17 years and is a dear friend and trusted employee who I cannot fault on any level.

“She has never let us down and as the years go by she has become more and more of an integral part of our family and friend, that I could not live without.

“Makhosi has a lovely sense of humor and our home is filled with laughter and love. To say Makhosi goes the extra mile would be an understatement.”

The course consisted of a motivational talk on work ethics by labour consultant Chantal Kemp from HR Worx, a lesson on cleaning and maintaining appliances followed by a cooking demonstration before each lady received their certificate of completion for attending the course.

If you would like to attend the next course nominate your domestic worker as the domestic worker for the month, contact shane@hirschs.co.za or 032 9467400 for more information.
