Spring is in the Dolphin Coast air!

The pre-primary children eagerly listened to BBS Mica's marketing guru Angela Lane as she explained why trees are so important.

Spring arrived in a blue BBS Mica truck full of happy little flowers and a tree to plant at Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary for Arbor Day this week.

When she asked why we need trees, the children cleverly replied: “They give us oxygen!”

“Trees also take away the bad carbon dioxide, give animals a place to live, provide shade and protect us from wind and their strong roots prevent the soil from washing away,” said Lane.

The new tree was planted under the watchful eyes of the children and then they all planted their own little seedling in a biodegradable pot to take home.
