One killed in truck, car head-on collision – N2 Zinkwazi

The accident affected traffic on the northbound carriageway, causing a major backlog.

A man lost his life after being ejected from his vehicle during a head-on collision with a truck on the N2 near Zinkwazi on Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of the car, who was believed to be in his late forties, was thrown from the vehicle on impact and declared dead by paramedics.

“The driver of the truck was lucky to escape with minor injuries,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst.
