UPDATE: Loadshedding moved to stage 4

Stage 2 power outages began on Friday.

Eskom will implement stage 4 load shedding today.

Stage 2 power outages began on Friday.

The power utility said the change from stage 2 to stage 4 was implemented from midday today (Saturday).

“Due to a loss of an additional 900 MW from the Mozambique imports, loadshedding will move up to stage 4 from 12 noon.”

The KwaDukuza Southern and Northern grids should be affected from 2pm to 4.30pm today.
