Nutty Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe, frozen banana, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods’ pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods’ sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods flaxseeds
  • 8 almonds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Stonelodge honey
  • 2 teaspoons Stonelodge almond butter or peanut butter
  • 3 ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. If you remember and have time, put the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and flax seeds in a bowl, cover with water and let sit at room temperature the night before you make the smoothie.

  3. Pour smoothie into a large glass and finish with a dusting of grated nutmeg or sprinkle of cinnamon.
