Nutty Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe, frozen banana, peeled
- 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods’ pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods’ sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon Health Connection Wholefoods flaxseeds
- 8 almonds
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Stonelodge honey
- 2 teaspoons Stonelodge almond butter or peanut butter
- 3 ice cubes

Instructions:
- If you remember and have time, put the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and flax seeds in a bowl, cover with water and let sit at room temperature the night before you make the smoothie.
- Drain seeds and transfer to a blender and add all the remaining ingredients to the blender.
- Pour smoothie into a large glass and finish with a dusting of grated nutmeg or sprinkle of cinnamon.
