After more than a week of national rotational loadshedding, which saw homes and businesses without power for up to three times a day, Eskom has announced that there will be no loadshedding today.
Stage two was implemented yesterday and ended at 11pm. The power utility then made the announcement that there would be no power cuts today.
Eskom did however warn that the power system remains tight and vulnerable.
To avoid the return of loadshedding, use electricity sparingly.
Should loadshedding be implemented, Ballito will be affected from 10am – 12.30pm (Stage 1, 2 & 3) and 10am – 12.30pm / 6pm – 8.30pm (Stage 4)
The Stanger northern grid will be affected from 6pm – 8.30pm (Stage 3) and 10am – 12.30pm / 6pm – 8.30pm (Stage 4).
