Residents called to fill Checkers’ golden trolley for flood victims
Any non-perishable goods are welcome from blankets to canned foods.
Look out for the big, bright, golden trolley at Checkers in New Salt Rock Shopping Centre and Ballito Junction and make sure to drop a little something in on your way out.
The two stores have combined forces to collect donations for the victims of the recent KZN floods according to Checkers Salt Rock assistant manager Ryan Carse.
“Checkers is a company with heart and we are always looking to help where we can.
“We believe that charity starts at home, so we will first donate the collected goods to the KZN flood victims and then to the Mozambique cyclone victims,” said Carse.
Any non-perishable goods are welcome from blankets to canned foods. The collection will continue until end May.
