Tracking the 2019 election results – KwaDukuza
The latest results for the KwaDukuza municipality as per updated figures from the IEC.
Although unofficial results from the 2019 elections have been circulating in the media, according to the IEC the final official election results are only expected to be released by Saturday.
Voting went smoothly in the KwaDukuza region, with only sporadic incidences reported of polling stations opening just after 7am due to minor logistical glitches.

While political parties await to see what the election results mean for their representation in the national and provincial legislature, the IEC has progressed further in the last few hours with 37% of voting districts counted.
