Pedestrian hit by truck on the M4, Ballito

The man was left badly injured and required urgent medical help.

A man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a truck on the M4 near Zimbali this morning.

The 36-year-old man was walking to work when he was hit and badly injured, reported paramedics.

“It is believed that the pedestrian was crossing the road towards a construction site on the M4, when he was struck by a truck,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst

He was treated by advanced life support paramedics before being taken to hospital.
