Mascor open days for gardeners and farmers – Salt Rock

Even the fairer sex can appreciate how chainsaw, trimmers and blowers make garden work a breeze, making you the envy of the neighbourhood.

Mascor Salt Rock is hosting two exciting events this month that will cater to both gardeners and farmers.

“We want to connect with the farming community on a first hand basis and showcase our new exciting and high quality products on the market,” said branch manager Werner Malan.

Werner joined Mascor Salt Rock in May this year and has been with the Mascor group for seven years, though he has been involved in agriculture for the last 14 years.

Friday, September 13

On September 13, Mascor invites those in the agricultural and farming industries to interact with representatives from John Deere, Jupidex, JCB and Mascor.

Products from these brands will be on show at the Salt Rock premises.

Saturday, September 14

The second event, on September 14, is open to everyone and will feature the German manufacturer of chainsaws and other handheld power equipment, STIHL event truck, chainsaw demonstrations, and plenty of fun activities for the kids as well.

Refreshments will be provided, and there will be a colouring in competition with prizes and spot prizes throughout the morning.

“This event is for everyone with a garden,” said Malan. “We want to showcase STIHL’s electrical equipment that makes garden work so much easier.”
