Montcalm and Zululami collide

With only 15 unsold fully serviced freehold sites still available on a sole mandate from Seeff North Coast, this development provides a union of seclusion plus amenity accessibility.

Ocean views to die for and as close to picture-perfect as it gets, Zululami Luxury Coastal Estate boasts quite a bit and, it can now boast of the integration of Montcalm boutique estate.

Merely a few hundred metres above Christmas Bay, Sheffield Beach, Montcalm comes in with a 5ha land size of which its environmental preservation is key.

According to Seeff’s North Coast managing director, Tim Johnson, the natural resources of Montcalm determined the course for the pattern of land use and occupation; setting the tone for a commitment to environmental preservation.

As for the integration of Zululami and Montcalm, this is nothing new assured Johnson: “Zimbali Beach Estate and Zimbali Coastal Resort followed this example as did Val die Vie and Pearl Valley in the Western Cape.”

“These notable estates have all been hugely successful and through mutual integration residents can enjoy more facilities and amenities than they previously envisaged. This integration also ensures the best infrastructure use for both current and future residents of amalgamated estates,” he said.

It was further stated by Johnson that the residents of Montcalm would have access to all of Zululami’s amenities while also enjoying the boutique lifestyle with an exclusive gatehouse entrance and multiple unparalleled sea-view sites.

Safety was also one of the aspects kept in mind during the planning phase, further allowing for residents to move around their own safe boutique surroundings while being able to access the wide open spaces of Zululami, its community clubhouse, boardwalks, bird hides as well as walking and cycling trails.

Montcalm will also allow Zululami residents easier access to one of Sheffield Beach’s best kept secrets – Christmas Bay.

Homes will include features with large overhangs, green planted roofs and natural finishes utilising stone, wood and concrete and, large glazed openings onto indigenous landscape surrounds.

And to top it all off, not only are two dogs allowed per household, energy-efficient lighting and air-conditioning solar panels and water conservation measures must also be used in the design.

With only 15 unsold fully serviced freehold sites still available on a sole mandate from Seeff North Coast, this development provides a union of seclusion plus amenity accessibility.

Prices range from R2.2 million to R3.8 million depending on views and with an average size of 1400m2.
