KwaDukuza municipality extends trading hours for licencing centres this weekend

The extension, according to municipal spokesperson Sipho Mkhize, is only applicable to vehicle licences.

In response to the grace period extended to motorists affected by the coronavirus pandemic, KwaDukuza municipality has announced new trading times.

The times, an extension to the standard working hours of licencing centre employees at the KwaDukuza driver’s licence testing centre and Salt Rock licencing centre, have been adjusted to aid those whose licences would have expired between March, April and May.

The extension, according to municipal spokesperson Sipho Mkhize, is only applicable to vehicle licences.

“We advise residents of the municipality to take note of the extended hours, applicable only for August 29 to 31,” he said.

KwaDukuza:

29 August 7am to 3pm
30 August 8am to 4pm
31 August 8am to 4pm

Salt Rock:

29 August 8.30am to 3pm
30 August 8.30am to 3.30pm
31 August 8.30am to 3.30pm
