A home for artists from all walks of life, The Gallery provides the perfect canvas

"The atmosphere on the evening and ever since has been fantastic, we really feel that the community is embracing this new creative space."

Dolphin Coast artists celebrated the opening of their own pop up art gallery at Lifestyle Centre last week.

Local artist Jane Digby along with fellow creative, Leigh Bisset have curated a wide array of artists, sculptors and ceramicists to fill the space.

Monique De Villiers-Delport and Leah Shone enjoy the various exhibits on display at the pop up art gallery.

“This will provide a much-needed platform for local artists to showcase their talent, at the same time nurturing the enjoyment and appreciation of arts and culture on the North Coast,” said Digby.

The Gallery is equally open to children and adults alike, with an interactive wall and many workshops available to get children interested in art.

“It is important to us that this does not come across as a space for ‘the elite’, truly everyone is welcome and we hope to see people of all ages and art experience coming through our doors,” she said.
