Ballito Lions organise mini make-over for Driefontein school
The Lions were there in partnership with KP Projects and Bra Golf Association and painted the grade R classroom, kitchen and staff room.
Maguyana Primary School in Driefotein received a mini-makeover by the Ballito Lions on Saturday.
The Lions were there in partnership with KP Projects and Bra Golf Association and painted the grade R classroom, kitchen and staff room.
Twenty new desks were sponsored by Total Ballz, valued at R20 000.
The school also received 4 new whiteboards donated by Ashton International College.
Ballito Lions member Kyle Crichton thanked all the sponsors for their contributions.
”Thank you to everyone that rolled up their sleeves and to the various companies that assisted in the background to make it all come together. This is only the tip of the iceberg and we plan to do a lot more.”
Deputy principal Thubelihle Magwaza said the donations would make a great difference to the daily running of the school.
“Thank you so much Ballito Lions, we are grateful for the help we received,” said Magwaza, who’s school has 592 pupils, most of whom come from disadvantaged homes.
