Minister of public service and administration and former premier Senzo Mchunu was there on Saturday night to campaign for the ANC, while the IFP brought out party president Velenkosini Hlabisa and KZN chairperson Thami Ntuli.
Lindelani township was under the leadership of Inkatha Freedom Party councillor Jabulani Sibiya who died due to a Covid-19 related illness early this year.
