Golfers take to Simbithi in support of Bloom Special Needs school
The four-ball format event was sold out yet again and ended last Thursday evening with a delicious fundraising dinner at The Fig Tree restaurant at Simbithi, with live entertainment, auctions, prizegivings and a performance by Bloom pupils.
Scores of golfers took to Simbithi golf course to support Bloom special needs school in its largest fundraiser event of the year, drawing 104 golfers!
The four-ball format event was sold out yet again and ended last Thursday evening with a delicious fundraising dinner at The Fig Tree restaurant at Simbithi, with live entertainment, auctions, prizegivings and a performance by Bloom pupils.
The school helps children who have been diagnosed with medical conditions and learning difficulties like Down Syndrome, Autism, Low IQ, and other non-specific learning difficulties which see children unable to cope in mainstream schools.
Fundraiser Debbie Nicholson said this year’s evening would not have been possible without all their amazing sponsors.
“We want to take time to thank each one of you and extend a massive thank you. This event gets better and better every year. Thank you to the community for their support and thanks to the incredible Bloom team who work so tirelessly behind the scenes for months before the big day,” said Nicholson.
