69th Christmas Country Fair will include #BlackFriday deals!

Tickets to the Christmas Country Fair are selling faster than hot cakes and you are running out of time to get your hands on one!

This year is the 69th Christmas Country Fair, which has received 322 vendor applications – the most ever.

There will be 130 stalls, all promising unique offers, with some stall holders returning by popular demand.

The fair is also made all the more special with day one falling on Black Friday: “Yes, we will have Black Friday deals,” assured chairlady, Gaby Lyle.

Set to return this year after making her debut in 2020 is Lauren Delay of Nude Home Fragrances.

The new brand is a lockdown baby which offers 100% pure and clean burning eco-friendly soy wax candles, which sold out last year.

Another exciting line-up, organisers said included Peony & Blythe, with their hair accessories and jewellery.

The event also promises to pull out all the stops with creative food and drinks, including craft rum.

Two craft beer brewers have also been thrown into the mix and this end-November event will for the first time ever run over 3 days, which includes a Saturday.

From its creative vendors through to champagne and oysters, the Christmas Country Fair is pulling out all of the stops this year.

Dates are set for November 25, 26 and 27 with the event to be held at Collisheen Estate, Compensation.

The Christmas Country Fair serves as a fundraiser for about 28 initiatives, all of which rely heavily on the event and its financial support.

The non-profit organisation was started by a group of farmers’ wives in 1952 to help buy a car for a clinic sister.

The event was so successful that it became an annual event and sees to the needs of community initiatives between the Tugela River and the Tongaat River.
