Spooktacular weekend of horrors gives all the thrills and chills
Sables Creatures founder, Seema Duwarkah, extended her heartfelt thanks to the North Coast community for joining in on the fun for a good cause.
The Spooktacular weekend of horrors brought a menacing menagerie of ghouls and ghosts to the North Coast.
The 4th annual Halloween fundraiser for Sables Creatures proved a huge hit with both children and adults alike.

The event was held over 3 days at Umhlali Country Club, bringing fun activities, including the famous maze of horrors, treasure hunt, jumping castle, best dressed competition and much more for the whole family.
With amazing attention to terrifying detail, along with a committed cast of volunteers, the maze was its best version yet.

The howls and shrieks of vampires and freaks were matched only by the delighted, if slightly nervous, laughter from the families that made their way through.
The weekend serves as a vital fundraiser for Sables Creatures which rescues, provides food and medical help for neglected animals across KwaDukuza.

Sables Creatures founder, Seema Duwarkah, extended her heartfelt thanks to the North Coast community for joining in on the fun for a good cause.

“We had reached R62 000 in vet debt, so this fundraiser provided a huge relief for Sables Creatures. We don’t have official fundraising figures yet, but raised R10 000 from the raffle alone. There are far too many thank yous to make, but special thanks to UCC, Mozambik, Mamma G’s, the Curro students, volunteers and everyone from the community that came out in support. It continues to warm our hearts and keep our doors open every year,” she said.
