Hirsch’s entrepreneur workshop on building trust with your clients
The weekly Entrepreneur Workshop is hosted by award-winning businesswoman and executive director of Hirsch's, Margaret Hirsch and business coach, Marlene Powell.
Bringing small businesses to life is all in a days’ work for David Ellis, who recently spoke at the weekly Hirsch’s Entrepreneur Workshop.
Ellis, co-owner of the Ballito-based Simply Graphic Digital Agency, which at any time works with businesses on five different continents, explained the need to focus on a strong brand identity before building a website.
“It is not just about the logo, a brand is an experience,” he said, noting that customers tend to trust brands which are consistent.
He advised that businesses ensure they have a unique selling point for their brand, and that they build strong brand strategies before jumping into building a website.
“You may just need a page, but people need to know who you are and what you do before they buy from you – your website is their go-to place.”
The weekly Entrepreneur Workshop is hosted by award-winning businesswoman and executive director of Hirsch’s, Margaret Hirsch and business coach, Marlene Powell.
Hirsch’s website manager, Brandley Govender echoed Ellis’ points on building trustworthiness.
“Whether people buy their appliances from shops or online, the website is the ‘shop window’ for the company and it is vital to keep ones website up-to-date and vibrant.”
Join Margaret and Marlene on the next workshop, where they will be joined by Arisha Ramautar who owns her own boutique law firm which deals with legal challenges that entrepreneurs often face.
