Fidelity ADT Ballito supports beach cleaning initiative at launch

Aside from the generous donation, Bartmann said locals would already have seen more security cameras being put up around town.

Fidelity ADT has officially made the Ballito Business Centre its home after the celebratory launch of its newly built offices last Friday.

Company CEO Wahl Bartmann said ADT was looking to localise the company and get back to the community.

To match the intention, Bartmann handed over a cheque of R50 000 to the Ballito Beach Collective, co-founded by Diogo Barendse, which is a subsidiary of the Ballito Urban Improvement Precinct.

At the launch were Germare Buys, Andre Buys, Leanie van der Walt and Erika Cloete.

It is a non-profit organisation which was started to maintain and protect the town’s beaches.

“We are also installing license plate recognition cameras,” he said, highlighting the importance of effective prevention measures.
