Ballito Lions break out the wine for a good cause
Thirty wine estates were represented, ensuring that even the most discerning connoisseurs were catered for.
After a difficult 2 weeks, North Coast residents enjoyed the opportunity of meeting socially again – and in aid of a good cause.
Wine tasting is always an attractive proposition and the Ballito Lions fundraiser at Umhlali Country Club was well supported by more than 200 people.
All funds raised from the tasting are going towards current Ballito Lions projects, as well as to assist areas most affected by the floods.
“We were very happy to see such a good turnout and hope to repeat the wine tasting at some stage later this year,” said Lions member, Ken Chapman.
