Eskom puts country into week-long loadshedding crunch
The power utility says it is currently experiencing severe capacity constraints.
Eskom will start loadshedding under stage 2 from 5pm countrywide owing to severe generation capacity constraints.
The utility provider noted that stage 2 would run until Monday, May 9 at 5am.
Specifically, these constraints were caused by delays in returning generators to service and the breakdown of nine generators.
