North Coast Courier’s Orphan Fund receives further food boost

"Words cannot express how grateful we are for this support. We have many NPOs, families and others in need between Tongaat and Stanger who rely on us" -co-ordinator Mpume Vilakazi.

More than 1 000 25kg bags of maize meal have now been donated to The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund in response to an appeal for donations of food for North Coast flood-affected communities.
Crichton said having seen the devastation caused by the floods, he realised he needed to help.
He reached out to partners within the South African Cereal and Oilseed Traders Association (SACOTA), including Cooper Tyres and DG Capital.
“Through our combined efforts we have now been able to donate a total of 1 100 bags of maize meal to the Orphan Fund,” Crichton said, expressing his gratitude to the companies coming on board without hesitation to help those in need.
Orphan Fund co-ordinator Mpume Vilakazi extended her thanks for the latest donation.
“Words cannot express how grateful we are for this support. We have many NPOs, families and others in need between Tongaat and Stanger who rely on us.”
