Ballito slip and slide fundraiser for Sables Creatures a hit!

Just short of R6 000 was raised for the non-profit organisation, which sees to the care of animals.

It was all fun and games at the slip and slide challenge in Ballito on Saturday.

The event served as a fundraiser for animal care organisation Sables Creatures, and was hosted by Mozambik restaurant in partnership with Concha Café and Ballito Surf Co.

“We raised R5 761 with about about 20 entrants. We are extremely grateful to the host and organisers of the event, as well as Scoop Ice Cream, Smash It and Concha Café for the prizes,” said Sables Creatures founder, Seema Duwarkah.

Mr Cool Kai Muller glides in.

Mozambik marketing manager Nicole Boshoff said they appreciated the community’s support.

Conrad de Jager has a “mask” for every occasion. .

“The next event on Saturday, ‘Gin is my Thing’, on the grass area of Mozambik, will again raise funds for Sables Creature, as well as Ballito Beach Collective.”
