ANC mourns death of Mandeni’s Isreal Maseko branch chairman, Bheki Ndlovu

He had a special passion for youth development, especially in soccer, and worked extensively with clubs and associations.

The ANC’s General Gizenga Mpanza region is mourning the death of Israel Maseko branch chairperson in Mandeni, Bheki Ndlovu, who died on Sunday.

Regional spokesperson Thandeka Mkhize said Ndlovu passed away after a long illness.

She said he worked tirelessly to promote and develop sport in Mandeni and surrounding areas.

His love of football saw him working with local football associations and clubs to ensure the development of Mandeni’s young talent. Mkhize said he also played a significant role in the development of arts and culture.

He once worked as a traffic officer and was later responsible for waste management at the Mandeni municipality.

Mkhize said the region was indebted to Ndlovu, who dedicated his life to the creation of a better society and called upon others in public service to follow his example of diligence.
