Putting the imagination to work with Cutie Patootie kids’ role-play at Umhlali

The Cutie Patootie kids’ role-play village in Umhlali is childhood imagination realised.

With miniature sets depicting everything from a market to a police station, kids have the opportunity to actively role-play any scenario they dream up.

It also happens to be the perfect backdrop for a clothing photoshoot and Edgars dropped in to do just that last week Wednesday.

Two young models Chloe Ashton and Liyana Mthembu had the time of their lives frolicking among each expertly crafted diorama setting.

“We support local business wherever possible and Cutie Patootie was the perfect opportunity to do that, while having a unique background that would otherwise have needed a custom set,” said head of marketing at Retailability, Terry Dale.

Cutie Patootie opened earlier this year at Sugar Village where children learn through play.

Founded by mother and daughter Teree Vasapolli and Chimene de Vos, the village is filled with magical spaces that most kids could only dream of.

Catering for children of different ages, genders and interests, Cutie Patootie lets you take a break while the kids run free in a monitored space.
