Christmas Fair moves to Manor House
The annual Christmas Fair will be held at The Manor House at Sheffield this year from October 26-28 - here's a sneak peek of what to expect.
The annual Christmas Fair market will take a step up this year at a new venue – The Manor House in Sheffield.
The fundraising fair, run by volunteers from the North Coast community, will host a range of South African creatives, designers, artists and foodies.
“The motivation for the move to new premises was simply to stay ahead of trends and ensure the continued success of the Christmas Fair Fund initiatives,” said event coordinator, Michelle Blake
To be held between October 26-28, the fair serves is the main fundraiser for the Christmas Fair Fund which supports 28 charities between the Tugela and Tongaat rivers.
The creative team behind the event is already hard at work, and Blake encourages women in the community to join the team in creating and making festive products which will be sold.
“We have partnered with a local designer to create a fresh, contemporary design, which will be rolled out in four different themes,” said Blake.
Attendees can look forward to the return of Macaroon Stationery, Pop in Jay, Ellasol, Della and Trinity Clothing, among others.
Talent from Gauteng and Cape Town will add to the event’s unique offering. Some of these include jewellery and leather designers.
“On the culinary side, we also look forward to have Abbiocco join us, with the team serving mezze and antipasti platters, not to mention delectable pizza from Bjorn, too,” said Blake.
