Man accused in murder of Lindelani school pupil drops bail application
The case has been postponed until November 1 to allow for further investigation.

The 23-year-old man accused of murdering Lindelani school pupil Ayanda Myeza dropped his bail application during his second appearance in the KwaDukuza Regional Court on Tuesday.
Like last week, local school pupils again protested in King Shaka Street in solidarity with the Myeza family, demanding that bail be denied.

The case has been postponed until November 1 to allow for further investigation.
During this time the accused will be held at Westville Prison.

The shocking murder of 18-year-old Ayanda sent shockwaves throughout KwaDukuza.
His lifeless body was discovered near a river in KwaDukuza on Saturday, August 19, with fatal stab wounds.
Ayanda was reportedly in a brief relationship with a girl who was previously involved with the accused.
It is believed the accused accessed the girl’s Facebook account, posing as her to lure Ayanda to a meeting where he and some friends lay in wait.
