Miss Ballito finalists shine at cocktail event

Miss Ballito 2023 is the 11th edition of the popular pageant, which is held in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Zimbali, and has raised more than R865 000 to date.

Miss Ballito’s eight finalists were the star attraction on stage at La Montagne’s Pumpkin Theatre last Thursday.

This year’s exciting class of aspirant title winners had a chance to introduce themselves to the wider public at the pageant’s annual cocktail evening, the last event before the finals next month.

Shaye Caldicott, Kayla Cleminshaw, Chloe Craig, Beth Green, Lindiwe Khumalo, Fikile Ndunakazi, Phindile Nxumalo and Hanè van der Merwe all walked the stage before speaking briefly to the packed crowd.

The Miss Ballito programme is far from a beauty contest alone and aims to upskill the finalists through months of workshops.
