Day one of Christmas Country Fair a massive hit!

Moving to The Manor House as its new venue, this year’s 71st annual Christmas Country Fair is likely to attract a much larger attendance than usual – weather permitting.
By 10am on the opening day today (Thursday), fair chairlady Gaby Lyle reported that about 1 000 people had already visited.

“In the past we would draw an average attendance of about 4 000 people overall. The new venue seems to be a hit,” she said.

Lyle is not the only one who thinks so, with early guests complementing the move.
“It’s simply wonderful and feels much larger,” said an elated Jenny Ireland.

Be sure not to miss out on this weekend’s fair with flair until Saturday from 8.30am.
