Glam and glitz at Miss North Coast KZN pageant
Beyond the glitz and glamour, the pageant also instilled values of philanthropy.
Miss North Coast KZN pageant contestants dazzled the audience at Simbithi Country Club on Saturday.
One hundred finalists from across the province vied for honours in the various age categories, from three years old to the Mrs North Coast KZN competition.
It was hosted and directed by SA Beauty Modelling Academy Ballito’s Katryn Celliers, who recently relocated to Ballito from Limpopo.
Crowned beauties received prizes worth more than R200 000 and earned the opportunity to represent KwaZulu-Natal at the Queen of South Africa pageant next year.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, the pageant also instilled values of philanthropy. Finalists participated in a ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project, collecting hygiene products for the “Keep a Girl Child in School Campaign.
Celliers said goods worth around R500 000 were collected and would be handed to The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund for distribution.
The Little Miss North Coast KZN 2023 title (3-6 years) was won by Anointed Kamono, the Miss North Coast KZN Junior crown (7-9 years) went to Riley Raven and Miss North Coast KZN Junior Teen (10-12 years) is Zenande Dludla.
Madison Taylor was named Miss North Coast KZN Teen (13-15 years), Aimee Basson won the Miss North Coast KZN crown and Mpume Ntshele the Mrs North Coast KZN 2023 title.
