Festive shopping extravaganza as Christmas Country Fair marks 71st anniversary at Manor House
Hosted for the first time at Manor House in Sheffield, the fair is the annual fundraiser for The Christmas Fair Fund.
The Christmas Country Fair marked its 71st birthday last week with a smart new venue and three days of shopping, food and entertainment.
Like a fine wine that improves with age, the fair attracted thousands of residents and drew many from further afield to peruse 120 incredible new and returning stalls.

Hosted for the first time at Manor House in Sheffield the fair is the annual fundraiser for The Christmas Fair Fund.
“This year’s Christmas fair with flair was once again a great success!” said fair co-ordinator, Michelle Blake.

“The venue change was well received. We are so thankful to our incredible community for their support of the fund and our fabulous vendors.”
Worries of wet weather proved unnecessary and the fair brought only good vibes to the North Coast as it has done for decades.

“We have a list of learnings, as expected, with finding our feet in a new space which we will refine for next year,” she said.
“Already plans are underway to add enhancements and collaborations. We are so excited for the next five years!”

Funds raised help to support a number of worthwhile projects in the Lower Tugela area, including The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
The focus remains on charities that support education and health, with a continued mantra that funds will only go to organisations that are willing to help themselves.
