Meet the Noble Women working to create a North Coast business community
The group meet monthly from February to November and now enjoy a membership of over 50.
The Noble Women kickstarted 2025 with news of their partnership with The Rise Up Movement at the Manor House in Sheffield on Wednesday.
Female entrepreneurs and businesswomen gather once a month to listen to inspiring guest speakers and enjoy great company and food in aid of supporting local charities. Last year, Noble Women supported Summerhill House, an NPO that provides care for vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children.
This year, the organisation is supporting The Rise Up Movement, which is fighting to end gender-based violence, human trafficking, child abuse and poverty.

“Every year, we support a local charity,” said Noble Women founder, Candice Morphew, who also owns Simply Fabulous Events and manages the Manor House. Morphew created Noble Women to get local businesswomen together to support one another and the local community.
“It’s exciting that our partnerships with various charities are growing,” she said.
“We are working towards giving back to the community through fundraising and volunteering. Part of the contribution from our event fees goes towards helping the NPO to build their crisis centre. We will also assist by volunteering or getting involved with other initiatives.”

What started in 2023 with just five members has now grown to over 50. Noble Women holds ten meetings a year, from February to November.
February’s event focused on visualising your ideal life, with business coach Sabine van der Salm from ‘Becoming You’ providing advice for entrepreneurs seeking business direction.
“Our 2025 theme is about authentic living – staying true to what matters most to each person,” Morphew said.
