Thousands stream in for Winter Fair wonderland

The KwaDukuza Winter Fair is the biggest annual fundraiser for KwaDukuza Child Welfare.

The KwaDukuza Winter Fair offered a memorable day out for children and families this year.

From the moment they arrived, young visitors could be seen enjoying rides, playing games and sampling a wide range of treats.

Mother and son, Reshika and Elijah Singh, are visiting from Gauteng.

When the Courier visited the fair on Thursday, the atmosphere was lively, with children carrying candyfloss and prizes while parents looked on with smiles. The fair featured a variety of attractions, including amusement rides, food stalls and live music.

Enjoying the ride are Alwandle Hlongwane and Qhawe Bahlule.

More than just entertainment, the fair supports a worthy cause.

Proceeds go towards KwaDukuza Child Welfare, meaning every ticket and purchase contributes to helping children in need.

Aphelele Mabika, Thando Mbeje, Zakira Thusi, Lusanda and Shakira Ndlovu with (back) Zaida Mzimela.

The KwaDukuza Winter Fair proved once again that it remains a much-anticipated highlight on the local calendar.
