Sibaya packs 2 100 food parcels for 21st birthday

The food will be distributed to communities in Waterloo, Verulam, Phoenix and Blackburn.

Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom is celebrating its 21st birthday by giving back and spreading festive cheer.

Gloria Ngidi was all smiles.

On Monday, staff members packed an incredible 2 100 food parcels, a symbolic gesture of 100 parcels for every year of operation. Each parcel contains essential non-perishable food items.

Makeshift assembly lines were set up across the venue as staff came together for a fun and meaningful day in support of those in need.

The food parcels will be distributed next week to communities in Blackburn, Waterloo, Phoenix and Verulam.

“This day is not about us, it’s about giving back to our communities,” said Sibaya general manager Virath Gobrie.
