The free event brought holiday cheer to young visitors, who enjoyed a range of activities while exploring the library and discovering new favourite books. Local author Lunga Ntuli captivated the audience with a reading from his debut children’s book, Nomfundo: The Girl Who Chose to Rise.

Librarian Shakila Singh thanked the community for attending the event.

“Everyone had a lovely time. Sadly, many children were still in school and missed out, but we will take this into consideration when planning our next event,” said Singh.
