27 December – Enjoy beach activities, e-gaming, body building and more at the annual Blythedale Beach festival from 8am. Free entry.

31 December – New Year’s Eve Party at Beach Wood Hotel from 6pm. Tickets R400. Dress: Hawaiian island style.
