Soak up the seaside
The Salt Rock main beach has full Blue Flag status for 2025/2026 and offers great surf, a wide sandy shoreline and vibrant energy. It is one of seven lifeguarded beaches in KwaDukuza, ensuring your swim is as safe as possible. On-site food vendors and large tidal pools near the Salt Rock Hotel make it ideal for families.

Where locals gather
Catch local artists, crafters and vendors at Claremont Farm twice a week. Whether you’re looking for freshly grown vegetables, trinkets or handcrafted goods, the friendly stallholders will have you covered. The market is held every Thursday from 7am to midday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
