Less than two weeks left for Best of Ballito nominations!

The nominations phase closes on April 30.

Hundreds of local businesses have already been nominated in this year’s North Coast Courier Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards, but time is running out to ensure your favourites are included.

Nominations for the annual competition, which highlights local businesses through public voting, have been open since April 1 and will run until April 30. If a business is not nominated by the closing date, it will not be eligible for the voting part of the competition.

To streamline the process, most of last year’s nominees are available for selection in the drop-down boxes on the Best of Ballito website. It is important to note however, that all businesses must be nominated again this year to qualify for the 2026 awards. You can also request a new category if a suitable one is not available.

Prizes include:
• A two-night stay and a spa treatment at Sala Beach House (total value R30 690)
• A 2-night stay for two at Sibaya Lodge including breakfast and R1 000 Royal Court Restaurant dinner voucher (total value R15 000)
• A couple’s spa pamper at Canelands Beach Club (total value R8 980)
• Prizes from Mins Breakdown Service & Panel Beaters (total value R6 000)
• A comprehensive eye test with prescription glasses from Vision Works Ballito (total value R5 000)

To qualify, participants simply need to nominate their favourite businesses across at least nine categories, and opt into the competition. Every five nominations earns you one entry into the prize draw, so make sure to opt in for this (just for taking part!). The more businesses you nominate, the more chances you have to win.
