KwaDukuza police appeal for help in locating missing 12-year-old boy

Members of the public with information are encouraged to contact the ILembe District FCS Unit acting commander, Captain Franks, at 082 826 8975.

Siyamthanda Mkhwanazi (12) has not been seen since allegedly leaving his Sunday School class in the Nyoni Yamanzi area near Glenhills on April 26.

KwaDukuza police are appealing to the public to be on the lookout for Siyamthanda or share any information that may assist in locating him.

iLembe police communications officer Priya Nunkumar said concerned relatives immediately began searching the nearby area after hearing of his disappearance, but they were unable to track him down.

Police efforts have so far been unsuccessful and the investigation has been handed over to the iLembe District Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit.

Authorities say even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping to find the missing child.

Alternatively, information can be reported to the investigating officer, detective constable Masondo at 067 040 9639.
