Fisherman finds human head on Umdloti Beach

Police removed human remains from Umdloti beach after a fisherman made the grisly discovery early this morning,

A human head washed up on Umdloti’s north beach on Sunday morning.

Umdloti Smart Village precinct manager Vicky Schnetler said a local fisherman made the gruesome discovery just after 8am on Mother’s Day and alerted the authorities.

“A fisherman identified the object as a human head at 8.14am this morning and stopped Marshall Security to report the incident,” she said.

Saps removed the remains from the beach.
